Mia Ayumi Malhotra is an acting instructor of poetry at the University of Washington, where she received her MFA in 2011. She is the recipient of the Academy of American Poets Harold Taylor Prize and the MacLeod-Grobe Poetry Prize, and her work has appeared or is forthcoming in the Asian American Literary Review, The Stanford Journal of Asian American Studies, Leland Quarterly, and the series Niseis of Faith.
