Sebastian Mary Tay is an interdisciplinary artist who graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with Master of Research in Creative Practices and Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Fine Art. In the last few years, his works were exhibited in the UK, Lithuania, Singapore, Malaysia, and China; in various museums, galleries, and festival shows, including the Royal Scottish Academy. A work from
the series "An Inquiry into the Marine Condition" won the Royal Scottish Academy Latimer Award. His research interests inquire the (in)commensurability in East and West philosophical concepts, particularly the relations between Heideggerian and Daoist metaphysics. Sebastian is a lecturer at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts; he is also a member of
