Louise Ho is one of Hong Kong's most recognised contemporary poets writing in English. Born and brought up mostly in Hong Kong, she has lived in Mauritius, England, America and Australia. She was an associate professor of English at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she taught English and American poetry, Shakespeare and, briefly, creative writing. She has four collections of poetry: Sheung Shui Pastoral; Local Habitation; New Ends, Old Beginnings; and Incense Tree. Ho is retired and now lives and writes in Australia and Hong Kong. [Poetry]
