Lyn Lifshin, whose Before It's Light won the Paterson Poetry Award and Kiss the Skin Off won the Jack Kerouac Award, has published more than 125 books of poetry, and her work has appeared in hundreds of journals and anthologies. She is the subject of an award winning documentary film, Lyn Lifshin: Not Made of Glass, available from Women Make Movies.
