Linda Whittenberg
ImageLinda Whittenberg's poetry reaches from the rural Illinois of her childhood to the deserts and mountains of New Mexico, but poems are found everywhere. Recent poems have been inspired by travels in Ireland, place of her ancestry. Her third book, Somewhere in Ireland, was published by Black Swan Editions in 2011. She lives in Santa Fe, NM where she returned after retiring from Unitarian Universalist ministry. Besides early mornings spent at her desk writing, she enjoys quilting, knitting, gardening, dancing with her husband. They both enjoy their animal companions: a mule, a goat and two cattle dogs.
