Jeremy Tiang
ImageJeremy Tiang has translated more than ten books from Chinese, including novels by Zhang Yueran, Yeng Pway Ngon and Chan Ho-Kei, and been awarded a PEN/ Heim Grant, NEA Literary Translation Fellowship, and a People's Literature Award Mao-Tai Cup. He first worked with Un Sio San while resident at the Vermont Studio Center. Tiang also writes and translates plays, most recently A Dream of Red Pavilions (performed off-Broadway by Pan Asian Repertory Theater), and his short story collection It Never Rains on National Day (Epigram Books) was shortlisted for the Singapore Literature Prize.
