Sarah Coomber
ImageSarah Coomber lives with her husband and son in southwest Washington state, where the topography, weather and temperament remind her of the Japanese town where she spent two years teaching in her mid-twenties. She has an MFA in creative writing and an MA in mass communication, and her essays have appeared in the South Dakota Review, the Christian Science Monitor, the Japan Times and the Star Tribune. Having previously worked in public relations, academia, journalism and science writing, she now does advocacy writing for hire.
