Viona Au Yeung
ImageViona Au Yeung was born and grew up in Hong Kong. Her poems 'The Best Comfort' and 'Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Poem' were featured in CU Writing in English Volume V (2005), and her short story 'Mirror' was published in Volume VI (2006) and Fifty-Fifty: New Hong Kong Writing (2009), published by Haven Books. Her Chinese poem 'In Stillness I Stray' will be published in the forthcoming January 2010 issue of the Taiwan-based poetry magazine Qiu Shui. She completed her MA in Romantic and Sentimental Literature at the University of York. She is currently working on a doctoral project on British Romantic poets and modern Chinese prose. [Read]
