Andrew Barker holds a BA in English Literature, an MA in Anglo/Irish Literature and a Ph.D. in American Literature. His poetry has been published in Asia Literary Review, Fifty-Fifty: New Writing from Hong Kong, and City Voices: Hong Kong Writing in English 1945 to the Present. Snowblind from my Protective Colouring, his first book of poetry, was published in 2009 by Chameleon Press, with the villanelle-sequence "Everything in Life in Contagious" performed at the Fringe Theatre as part of The Man Hong Kong International Literary Festival 2009.
