Cha: An Asian Literary Journal
Cha is the first and currently the only Hong Kong-based online literary quarterly journal dedicated to publishing quality poetry, short stories, creative non-fiction, drama, and reviews written in English, as well as photography and art. It has a strong focus on Asian-themed creative work or work done by Asian writers and artists. We are also interested in publishing writers/artists from around the world.

The third issue of Cha has now been launched. Eddie Tay, the well-known Singaporean poet, acted as guest editor and generously offered his time to read the submissions with us. The issue features works by 23 writers/artists: Martin Alexander, Mike Bishop, John Bernard Bourne, YZ Chin, Tom Chandler, Pilot Chu,  Ashok Gupta, viki holmes, Yibing Huang, Sushma Joshi, Michael Judd, Larry Lefkowitz, Shirley Geok-lin Lim, Clint Lorimore, Marina Ma, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Maurice Oliver, Lawrence Pun, Anindita Sengupta, Sridala Swami, Todd Swift and David Whitton.

Our next issue is due out in August 2008. Hong Kong writer Nicholas Y.B. Wong is the guest editor who helps select works. Please read our submission guidelines for more details.
