José Manuel Sevilla
ImageBorn in Barcelona in 1959, José Manuel Sevilla has published several poetry books including From the Limits of Paradise (1991), Contiguous Traject (1993), Alicia in Ikea's Catalogue (2004) and Ashes of Auschwitz end Eighteen Dogs (2009, Angel Urrutia Award). He founded "Poets against Aids" in Spain and co-founded the theatre Group "Bonobos". He has also translated Peter Reading's C into Spanish. In Mexico Sevilla started the photograph collection Street Language, which was exhibited at the Fringe Club Hong Kong in 2004. His play The Bridge, first staged in 2000 in Barcelona, was adapted and directed by Adam Harris in the McAuley Theatre in Hong Kong in 2011 and he acted with Liz Merendino.
